Emma brings sunshiny warmth and grounded positivity, kindness, and compassion to her therapeutic work. Emma has a particularly open mind, is comfortable with the unknown, and has the utmost regard for each client’s unique life story, personality, and goals for treatment. Emma will truly make you feel seen, heard, and valued as the individual that you are.
Emma received her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University in 2013, with a minor in African Languages and graduated from Indiana University in 2023 with her M.S. Ed in Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Education. She has over a decade of experience bringing together a confluence of professional knowledge from behavior and play therapy, traditional psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, yoga therapeutics, Reiki, the Peace Corps, and more.
Emma specializes in managing the symptoms of trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, disordered eating, and body image, for people of all ages, but particularly kids, teenagers, young adults, and older adults. She is passionate about working with veterans, LGBTQIA+ folx, culturally diverse populations and those interested in spiritual growth.
Outside of her professional work, you can find Emma working in her garden, cooking, hiking, camping, kayaking, hula-hooping, playing her ukulele, reading, or snuggled up with her cats.
