Just because the vision came through you doesn’t mean it’s meant to be carried alone 💕
Have you ever, in a moment of meditation, prayer, or spiritual elevation, received a calling or vision that felt right, expansive, and true…
…but then aimed to actually fulfill it on your own, without taking time to continually return to, connect with, and receive guidance from this higher source…
…only to then discover that the exhilarating rush of inspiration has been replaced by outdated patterns and limited thinking that keep you small and perpetuate doubt?
What I have learned and am continually learning is that…
…if we receive a calling of any kind from something that feels vast, beyond and bigger than us, born from whatever is sacred to us…
…it is essential that we not aim to then pursue it on our own,
without returning, again and again, for everyday guidance, nurturing, and instruction from the very thing that first planted the soul seed within us.
In other words, if you get a calling from the Universe/God/Love/Spirit,
but then try to fulfill it without the Universe/God/Love/Spirit, faith can easily turn into fear.
I have noticed in my own life, if I receive a message, calling, or what I call a “spiritual assignment” when I am sitting in meditation or on a morning walk out at what we call Tree Church — but then try to fulfill that calling without the support of the very thing that called me to it,
…I am trying to pursue something born out of higher consciousness with lower consciousness thinking.
And I have heard this from countless clients and students over the years, discouraged by feeling lost and stuck around bringing their calling and contribution to the world to fruition.
If you can relate, this is just a little loving reminder to continually expand your field of awareness to match that of where the dream itself was sourced,
to keep returning to that sacred space deep within and beyond to have the path be illuminated, one small soul-aligned action at a time,
and to keep plugging back into the voice of Love, for your hand and heart to be deeply held along the way. 🩷
In sum, what l am continually learning and discovering (in case it can serve YOU too)…
…is to make sure we don’t try to fulfill a Spirit-sized calling with human-sized thinking.
